Périgord/Dordogne - Day 4 - Sarlat-la-Canéda & Château des Milandes

Our small group had another fantastic day in the Dordogne.

We began in Sarlat-la-Canéda, where we wandered through the vibrant city market. The colorful stalls filled with local produce, cheeses, spices, and crafts created a wonderful atmosphere. We tasted some regional specialties and enjoyed chatting with the friendly vendors—it was a true feast for the senses!

In the afternoon, we visited the Château des Milandes, a beautiful Renaissance castle once home to Josephine Baker. Walking through its elegant rooms and learning about her extraordinary life was incredibly moving. The peaceful gardens and spectacular bird of prey show made the visit even more special.

A day full of flavor, culture, and inspiration.
