The African South - Day 1 - Windhoek

After spending two hours filling out forms because of our missing luggage 🧳, we finally headed to the 🚌 — or rather, a converted 🚚 😅 — into the city. We took a sightseeing tour that showed us both the beautiful and not-so-beautiful sides of the city.

After a delicious meal 🍲 at a restaurant whose building actually looks like a coffee machine from the outside 😅, we finally made our way to the hotel in 29°C heat. Full of anticipation for a refreshing shower 🚿 after such a long journey — but nope, no water! And the swimwear? Of course, still in the suitcase back in Frankfurt 😅

Could it get any more adventurous? The day isn’t over yet…
