The African South - Day 7 - Etosha NP - Tsumeb

Yesterday was exciting enough!

Today we continued our journey to Tsumeb, heading northeast through Outjo, Otjiwarongo, and Otavi. Along the way, the landscape began to change — still wide open, but with a completely different feel.

Once we arrived at the hotel, it was straight to the 🏊‍♀️ followed by a well-deserved 🍸.

This region still has active mines — one of the biggest is the B2 gold mine. We decided to broaden our horizons and visited the local museum 😀 It’s really fascinating to see how hard people worked here more than 150 years ago!
