Erikaβs dream came true! ππ
She finally saw the Victoria Falls β breathtaking and one of a kind. Even with the lower water levels, it was absolutely beautiful. The mist wasnβt too strong, so we could see everything clearly. In the rainy season, though, the spray can rise up to 500 meters! π§οΈ
The falls are fed by the Zambezi River, which runs 2,660 km, starting in Angola and flowing through five countries. π
The waterfall edge stretches 1.7 km wide, with drops ranging between 75 and 110 meters. Not every part carries the same amount of water, but the spectacle is simply majestic. π
The constant humidity has created a small rainforest around the falls β filled with vines, mosses, and orchids. πΏπΈ
At 4:00 p.m., we jumped in the πΊ and headed to the pier. A peaceful boat trip on the Zambezi River π₯ with π·π₯π₯π
At one point, we even crossed briefly into Zambia πΏπ² β no passport check, 28 dollars saved! π πΈ
Here too, life and death coexist along the river. π Nature remains perfectly balanced.
We ended the day watching the sunset π β tired, but happy and grateful. π π
