The African South - Day 14 - Selibe-Phikwe - Mapesu Game Reserve

Our adventure continues! 😄

Up at 6:00 a.m., quick breakfast ☕️🍞, and off we go.

From Selibe Phikwe through Zanzibar and into the wild park. And just when we thought it was smooth sailing – the 🚌 ran out of fuel 😅😅. But the scenery was stunning, and we spotted a few wild animals along the way. 🐘🦓

A few kilometers later, another challenge – a flat tire! 🙉 We joked that we might soon become dinner for the leopards 🐆😀.

After eight hours of endurance testing, we finally arrived at our stay: Mapesu Wilderness Camp.

A quick refresh, then straight out on a Big Five safari 🐘🦁🐃🦏🐆😄. Two hours driving through the bush, watching wildlife, and soaking up the sunset 🌅. We were lucky – we actually saw a rhino 🦏, one of the Big Five!

Dinner was amazing (and way too much!) 😋 then off to our tent for some rest.

A refreshing outdoor shower 🚿 to wash away the dust – and we felt like new again. 😀

Now just sleep beneath the stars 🌙✨
